Real Estate stocks slide

Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 16.18 points or 1.2% at 1332.07 at 13:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 6.45%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 4.9%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 4.59%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 2.57%),Sobha Ltd (down 1.82%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were DLF Ltd (down 1.31%), Godrej Properties Ltd (down 1.08%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.74%).

On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 5.53%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.77%) turned up.

At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 1022.62 or 3.94% at 27003.86.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 302.2 points or 3.97% at 7912.45.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 102.75 points or 1.16% at 8975.58.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 98.18 points or 3.1% at 3269.04.

On BSE,934 shares were trading in green, 1186 were trading in red and 130 were unchanged.
