Real Estate stocks tumble
Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 37.53 points or 1.55% at 2377.64 at 13:52 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 2.46%), DLF Ltd (down 2.25%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 2.12%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 1.94%),Sobha Ltd (down 1.82%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 1.18%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.49%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 0.27%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.24%).
On the other hand, Omaxe Ltd (up 0.42%), turned up.
At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 332.94 or 0.81% at 41549.08.
The Nifty 50 index was up 84.55 points or 0.7% at 12192.45.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 36.53 points or 0.25% at 14713.42.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 2.42 points or 0.05% at 5102.91.
On BSE,897 shares were trading in green, 1442 were trading in red and 165 were unchanged.
