Real Estate stocks surge

Real Estate stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 10.06 points or 0.47% at 2164.08 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 2.67%), DLF Ltd (up 1.25%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 1.06%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.43%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.29%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.22%), were the top gainers.

On the other hand, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 1.1%), Godrej Properties Ltd (down 0.61%), and Sobha Ltd (down 0.57%) turned lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 1.79 or 0% at 40321.82.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 3.45 points or 0.03% at 11904.7.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 24.38 points or 0.18% at 13499.13.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 15.67 points or 0.34% at 4662.77.

On BSE,863 shares were trading in green, 644 were trading in red and 84 were unchanged.
