Star Cement Ltd Surges 7.11%

Star Cement Ltd has added 1.84% over last one month compared to 1.09% gain in S&P BSE Basic Materials index and 0.54% rise in the SENSEX

Star Cement Ltd gained 7.11% today to trade at Rs 119. The S&P BSE Basic Materials index is up 0.41% to quote at 2846.88. The index is up 1.09 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Excel Industries Ltd increased 3.23% and Udaipur Cement Works Ltd added 3.09% on the day. The S&P BSE Basic Materials index went down 0.31 % over last one year compared to the 7.26% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
