Welspun Corp consolidated net profit rises 58.18% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales decline 35.72% to Rs 1727.23 crore

Net profit of Welspun Corp rose 58.18% to Rs 218.72 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 138.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales declined 35.72% to Rs 1727.23 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 2687.10 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 2.62% to Rs 618.83 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 635.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 37.02% to Rs 6146.65 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 9759.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
