Welspun India consolidated net profit declines 41.83% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 14.28% to Rs 1506.23 crore

Net profit of Welspun India declined 41.83% to Rs 89.86 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 154.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 14.28% to Rs 1506.23 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1757.16 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 9.88% to Rs 398.18 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 362.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 8.88% to Rs 6050.57 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 6640.54 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
