Zee News reports net profit of Rs 6.19 crore in the March 2013 quarter

Net profit of Zee News reported to Rs 6.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against net loss of Rs 4.36 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 12.30% to Rs 69.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 79.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit rose 291.94% to Rs 24.30 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 6.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 3.09% to Rs 263.79 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 272.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
