Archer Bombalya Devi bows out of Rio Olympics

India's campaign in women's archery has come to an end

Indian archer Bombalya Devi bowed out of the Rio Olympics after going down to Alejandra Valencia of Mexico 102-104 in the 1/8 eliminations round of the women's individual category here on Thursday.

Bombalya lost to the Mexican 26-28, 23-26, 27-28, 23-25 at the Sambodromo arena.

With her loss, India's campaign in women's archery at the 31st Rio Olympics has come to an end.
