Brighton sign Brown from Chelsea for season-loan agreement

English football club Brighton on Tuesday completed the signing of young forward Izzy Brown from Chelsea on a season-loan agreement.

The 20-year-old forward spent last season on loan with Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town, and is now headed to Premier League new boys, Brighton, reports Efe.

"The natural progression for Izzy, having enjoyed such a successful season in the Championship last season, was to step up to the English Premier League -- and we are delighted he will be doing that with us, here at Brighton," Brighton manager Chris Hughton said in a statement.

In addition to winning a U21 Premier League and FA Youth Cup double in 2013-14, Brown also helped Chelsea retain the FA Youth Cup in 2014-15 and win the UEFA Youth League in the same season.
