Carla Suarez advances to third round of French Open

Spanish tennis player Carla Suarez reached to the third round of the French Open after defeating China's Qiang Wang here on Thursday.

The Spaniard defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-3 in one hour and four minutes, reports Efe.

Suarez will face the winner of the game between Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova and Croatian Ana Konjuh.

Throughout her career, Suarez has never reached the semi-finals at Roland Garros.
