Exhibition captures Japan through lens of Indian shutterbugs

The contest was open to residents of India, who have stayed in Japan for any duration between July 2017 and June 2018, and took entries only by amateur (non-professional) photographers.

The results for the contest were announced in September by the Japanese to Kenji Hiramatsu, who had "emphasized the importance of promoting people-to-people exchange between Japan and India" in his remarks, the said.

Out of 400 entries, top 10 winning entries, including those by Amit K. Srivastava, Gauri Talwar, Puneet K. Singh, K. Bidyarani Devi, Puneet Sihag, Deepak Gandotra, Rekha Jain, Anil K. Sharma, Mithilesh K. Singh, and Shelly Airan, and other outstanding photographs, are featuring in the exhibition.
