Golden Globe: 'How To Train Your Dragon 2' awarded best animated film

Dean DeBlois's directorial "How to Train Your Dragon 2" was Sunday awarded with the Best Animated Feature Film trophy at the 72nd Golden Globe award ceremony.

The 3D, computer-animated, action-fantasy film is loosely based on the book series of the same name by Cressida Cowell. It is the sequel to the 2010 movie "How to Train Your Dragon" and is the second in the trilogy.

"How To Train Your Dragon 2" had competitors in entertainers like "Big Hero 6", "The Book Of Life", "The Boxtrolls" and "The Lego Movie".
