Hotel employee suspended after German complains

A hotel employee here has been suspended after he misbehaved with a German national staying in a hotel for over a month, police said on Thursday.

"We are sorry such an incident occurred in our hotel. We have suspended our staffer Pawan Joshi for his disgraceful act," said the General Manger of the hotel but he refused to reveal his name.

The German man, in India to supervise a project in an IT company, told the police that the hotel employee touched him inappropriately and then scuffled with him when he objected to his behaviour, police officer Sachin Malik said.
