Winter Olympics: Klaebo crowned in cross-country skiing men's sprint classic

Norwegian bagged the gold in cross-country men's sprint classic at the PyeongChang here on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old Klaebo finished the race in three minutes and 5.75 seconds to become the youngest Olympic champion in cross country skiing, reports

Klaebo was also the third Olympic champion from in the men's individual sprint event.

"It means a lot. I think it has been a lot of pressure from outside the last couple of weeks and to be able to win here is unbelievable," Klaebo said.

"It is quite cool to cross the finish line first. It is difficult to describe, everything has happened so fast and you are so happy."

Italy's finished second in 3 minutes and 7.09 seconds. The bronze medal went to Olympic Athlete from Russia in 3:07.11.
