Lights, camera... selfie

At the India Economic Conclave organised by ET Now, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry (independent charge) Nirmala Sitharaman, was scheduled to address a session, Make in India: Crafting a manufacturing revival. The stage was set, the audience was ready, but when the emcee called the minister to come up on stage and flag off the session, there was no response. After calling her a second time, the emcee realised that the minister was busy taking a selfie with Hero MotoCorp's Sunil Kant Munjal. Unruffled she urged the "self-confessed selfie-lover" to come on stage. Not everyone seemed particularly amused at that.
