Past catches up

Shashi Tharoor, the former Under-Secretary-General at the UN, had found his way into the Congress party’s good books and was hoping for a Lok Sabha seat from his home state of Kerala. Except that another claimant for the seat recalled his harsh words for the country’s ruling family in his book, From Midnight to Millennium.
