12 get life term in 24-year-old murder case

Additional district and session judge Shyam Bihari Rai passed the order after finding the accused guilty in the murder case of a person, Hari Narayan.

According to prosecution, the convicted persons shot dead Narayan, a native of Chernurva village under Sanjhauli police station on February 20, 1988, in a land dispute.

The victim's son Madhav Singh had lodged a named FIR against 12 persons charging them with the murder of his father.

The convicted persons are Sanjay Chaudhary, Newasi Chaudhary, Shiv Kumar Chaudhary, Babudhan Chaudhary, Bijendra Chaudhary, Rameshwar Chaudhary, Umesh Chaudhary, Devmuni Chaudhary, Rajvansh Chaudhary, Rajeshewar Chaudhary, Hans Kumar Chaudhary and Nand Bihari Chaudhary.
