Twelve school children were injured when a Gramin Seva vehicle in which they were travelling oveturned at Mangolpuri today, police said.
According to police, the vehicle ferrying the school students of Kamdhenu Government School overturned when the driver tried to avoid a cow which came in the way.
All the injured students were taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital for treatment and discharged after being given first aid. The students are in the age group of 13 to 18 years.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested on the charge of negligent driving, police said.
