Fourteen fresh cases of swine flu have been reported in Telangana where 77 people have succumbed to the H1NI virus since the beginning of the year.
"Since January one till April 2, 7,423 samples were tested out of which 2,289 were found to be positive. The number of deaths because of swine flu and related complications is 77," a state government release said today.
Fourteen out of the 49 samples sent for analysis yesterday were found positive for the virus.
"The number of positive cases reported in the last six days (up to April 2) is 8, 19, 10, 13, 09 and 14," it added.
