The hospital, known to be the biggest government hospital in the state, has registered about 25 per cent increase in the inflow of patients suffering from seasonal diseases like viral fever, dengue and malaria.
In view of subsequent increase in the number of patients, the administration has set up a Pyrexia ward in the hospital to accommodate patients with fever, a spokesperson of the hospital said.
The hospital have detected 25 cases of malaria, 5 cases of dengue and 3 cases of swine flu last week, he added.
