3 killed, 1 injured as van hits lorry

Three persons were killed and one was injured when their van collided with a stationary lorry in Telangana's Adilabad district today, police said.

The mishap occurred at around 7 AM in Tandoor mandal of Adilabad when the van coming from Karimnagar district rammed into the lorry.

Three persons died on the spot while one other sustained injuries, Tiryani police station inspector B Swami said.

The victims hailed from Dharmapuri mandal of Karimnagar district.

A probe is on into the mishap, police added.
