3 officials booked after high tension wire falls on woman, kills her: police

Three officials, including an executive engineer of the UP Power Corporation, were booked after a woman was electrocuted here, police said today.

An FIR under section 304 of the IPC dealing with culpable homicide not amounting to murder has been registered against corporation Executive Engineer R K Srivastava, Sub Divisional Officer Shailendra Singh and Junior Engineer Ramesh Singh on the complaint of Nanhelal, whose wife was electrocuted after a high-tension wire fell on her, a police official said.

The woman, Sangeeta, had died in the incident on Saturday in Rakha Bazar in Kandhai area here, police said.
