Police today seized 315 cartons of Haryana-made liquor from a tractor near the ABES Crossing in Vijay Nagar area here.
The driver and the helper of the tractor, however, managed to flee leaving the vehicle there, a police officer said.
The illegal consignment was seized when a police team patrolling the area spotted the tractor and asked the driver to stop the vehicle. But the driver and his help fled, the officer said.
The city police have launched a drive against bootleggers and illegal liquor following the direction of Ghaziabad Senior Superintendent of Police Dhramender Singh.
