4 hurt in assault case

Four persons were injured in an alleged assault case on a girl student in Nadia.

Suprentident of Police of Nadia district Arnab Ghosh said the brother of the class 9 girl student had obstructed the attempt of physical assault on her by some miscreants last night.

The miscreants attacked them a few hours later with sharp weapons and four of them were seriously injured at Gobindanagar under Krishnaganj Police Station in Nadia.

The injured were later admitted to a local hospital.
