At least four persons of a family
died while two others sustained injuries in a fire incident in a house in Sector-7 area of the city today, police said.
The deceased, two women and two children, were yet to be identified.
Stating that cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, police said details about the incident could be known after recovery of the injured persons.
The injured were admitted at the SCB Medical College and Hospital here.
Fire tenders were engaged to control the flame.
