82-year-old man found murdered

An 82-year-old man was killed by unidentified persons in Chanda area in Sultanpur district, police said today.

Ram Kishore Yadav was killed by unidentified persons while he was sleeping near the tubewell last night, a police spokesperson said.

The complaint was lodged by the deceased's son, Santlal, today, they added.

Police said a case has been lodged and efforts are on to nab the killers.

He said the body has been sent for postmortem.
