Airtel expands 4G service in Haryana to Karnal, Yamunanagar

Telecom major Bharti Airtel today expanded its 4G services in Haryana with launch in Karnal and Yamunanagar.

Customers in Karnal and Yamunanagar will be able to access high speed mobile broadband service through dongles, wi-fi modems, mifi and Wi-Fi dongles.

"Over the last few months, we at Airtel have made significant investments in building a robust 4G network here. We invite our data savvy customers in Karnal and Yamunanagar to enjoy this world class data experience," Bharti Airtel (India) Hub CEO for Upper North Manu Sood in a statement.

Jaguar Land Rover opens parts distribution centre in India * Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover today said it has opened a new parts distribution centre (PDC) in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai.
 

The 70,000 square feet facility will have regionally optimised inventory supporting both Jaguar and Land Rover brands, Jaguar Land Rover India said in a statement.

MIT CBA director Neil Gershenfield visits Startup village * Neil Gershenfeld, Director of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Centre for Bits and Atoms (CBA), who pioneered the concept of Fabrication Laboratories (Fab Labs), visited the Startup Village in Kochi today to discuss setting up of a Fab Lab at the incubator.

CBA is setting up two Fab Labs in Kerala in partnership with the state government; one at the Startup Village and another at the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K ), Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, an official release said.
