Varma, 50, who is currently busy with his upcoming release "Department", said Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan have been roped in for the final installment of the dramatic thriller.
"'Sarkar 3' is being planned... Amitji and Abhishek will feature in it but contrary to reports, Aishwarya won't be in it... Script is still under progress," he posted on Twitter.
The second installment of the film had seen Bachchan trio in the prominent roles.
Aishwarya, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Guzarish", took a break from Bollywood because of her pregnancy. PTI NDS
