Akhilesh urges farmers not to take extreme steps

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today urged farmers not to resort to extreme steps like committing suicide and asked them to bravely face tough situations.

Farmers shouldn't get disappointed and take extreme steps like committing suicide, said Yadav, who was here to attend a function.

Yadav said there were problems due to lack of required assistance from the Centre, but his government was making all efforts to extend all possible relief to the farmers.
