Anne Fletcher to direct Witherspoon and Vergara comedy film?

'27 Dresses' director Anne Fletcher is reportedly in talks to direct Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara in her new comedy film.

The 47-year-old filmmaker is in talks to direct 'Don't Mess With Texas', an action comedy which will see Witherspoon, 37, in the role of a police officer and Vergrara, 41, as a prisoner, who run off together, reported Deadline.

The MGM financed film will begin shooting during Vergara's break from her show 'The Modern Family' this spring.

Witherspoon is also slated to produce the film via her company Pacific Standard.
