Bengali blockbuster 'Praktan' music director Anupam Roy got the 'Composer of the Year' award while Shreya Ghosal was adjudged the 'Best Vocalist (female)' in the 'Music awards' programme for Bengali industry, instituted by a leading national FM channel.
Anupam, whose 'Autograph' has charted new course for Bengali new age music, also received the 'Song of the Year' (listeners' choice) for the 'Tumi Jake Bhalobaso' number from 'Praktan'.
Anupam, the 'Piku' music man, was also given 'Album of the Year' (listeners' choice) crown for his music direction in Pratim D Gupta's 'Saheb Bibi Golaam'.

Shreya Ghosal bagged the Best Vocalist (female) award for the 'Khub chena mukh' number of the album 'Tobu Aporichito', while Nachiketa Chakraborty was adjudged the 'Best Vocalist (male)' for his 'Ek Purono Mosjide' track of the film 'Zulfiqar'.
The lifetime achievement award went to veteran Bengali singer Anup Ghosal, who had made his mark in Mumbai and Kolkata.
Actor Rituparna Sengupta was felicitated with a special award for her contribution to silver screen for two decades at the function held last night.
