Ashok Amritraj sells tennis court estate in Los Angeles

Ashok Amritraj, the former Indian tennis player-turned Hollywood producer, has sold his ranch-style home here for a whopping USD 1.675 million, according to a media report.
The Hyde Park Entertainment chief executive put the tennis court estate in the Encino/Sherman Oaks area on the market earlier this year after buying an Italian villa-style mansion in Bel-Air here for USD 8.25 million, Los Angeles Times reported.
The four-bedroom house, built in 1973, occupied more than an acre with a main residence, an outdoor patio, a pool, a lighted tennis court and a large motor court.

Public records show that Amritraj had paid USD 750,000 for the property, the report said.
