The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today unearthed assets worth Rs two crore allegedly belonging to an official of Telangana State Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSNPDCL).
A case of disproportionate assets was registered against B Sridhar, Divisional Engineer, TSNPDCL, in Medchal of neighbouring Ranga Reddy district of Telangana and simultaneous searches were conducted at his and his relatives' residences here and in Karimnagar district, an ACB release said.
Two houses, five residential plots, a shop, a car, gold ornaments and silver articles, insurance policies of Rs 15 lakh, etc., worth altogether Rs 2 crore, were found.
The market value of the properties is approximately Rs 5 crore, the release said.
No arrest has been made so far.
