Body parts of women recovered from different areas in Lucknow

Body parts of females were today found from different areas of this city, a day after decapitated heads of two unidentified women were recovered from Sitapur.

Four legs of girls and other body parts were recovered from Madiyaon area and IIM Road here today, police said.

There is high possibility that the decapitated heads recovered yesterday from Sitapur and the body parts found in Lucknow are linked, DIG D K Chowdhury said.

Prima facie the girls were killed and their bodies chopped off by someone, police said, adding that they were trying to identify the bodies and match the different parts recovered.
 

Decapitated heads of two women, aged between 20 to 25 years, were recovered from a bag beneath a culvert in Kamiyapur village of Sitapur last evening.

"We are probing the matter. Clothes have also been found with the body parts recovered today. There is no missing report of any girl from the six neighbouring districts," Chowdhury said.

No arrests have so far been made in this connection, police said.
