Breach of privilege motion against ex-Additional CS in Ktk

: Karnataka Legislative Assembly Kagodu Thimmappa referred to the Privilege Committee a breach of privilege motion against retired Additional Chief Secretary V Balasubramanian.

Senior MLA and former Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar sought to move the motion against him for alleged attempt to tarnish the image of members by casting aspersions on them.

Ramesh Kumar referred to an article published in a Kannada daily today, where Balasubramanian has allegedly accused the Assembly member of encroachment of forest land.

H D Revanna of JD(S) and D N Jeevaraj of BJP supported the privilege motion.
