Central team to visit Maha soon for draught relief: Pawar

"The Centre will try to compensate the losses of rabi crop. Last week, the Centre sanctioned Rs 576 crore. Even rabi crop has suffered losses due to scarcity of water," Pawar told reporters here.

Meanwhile, Pawar welcomed the statement of Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh leader Prakash Ambedkar that the declaration of caste be deleted from the school admission forms.

"The suggestion is good. But, backward class students need reservations," he added.
