Cold weather conditions persisted in several parts of Punjab and Haryana as Amritsar reeled under a temperature of 3.6 degrees Celsius which was three notches below normal.
The minimum at Amritsar, had yesterday settled at 4.4 degrees Celsius.
Ludhiana and Patiala recorded below normal minimum temperatures of 9.4 degrees Celsius and 8.8 degrees Celsius respectively.

Chandigarh recorded a minimum temperature of 8.8 degrees Celsius, according to the MeT Department report.
Hisar (6.5 degrees Celsius), Karnal (6.2 degrees Celsius) and Narnaul (6.2 degrees Celsius) in Haryana, identically recorded three notches below normal minimum temperature.
However, Ambala's minimum temperature settled two degrees above normal at 10.8 degrees Celsius.
