Cong leader's nephew accuses bank officials of fraud

The nephew of a Congress leader has alleged that officials of a bank "fraudulently" took out money from his account through Internet banking.

Mahendra Kalla, the nephew of former minister BD Kalla, filed a complaint at Sadar police station yesterday against the manager of Vijaya Bank and others alleging that they took out Rs 4.13 lakh from his account, police said.

Based on the complaint, an FIR has been registered in the matter and a probe is underway.
