NRHM scam accused Pradeep Shukla did not appear in a special CBI court today, prompting the judge to ask for a report from jail authorities.
Shukla was reportedly admitted to a Delhi hospital yesterday after he complained of ill-health, sources said.
In a related case, former Director General (Health) S P Ram and four others were produced before the court.
The next date of hearing has been fixed for tomorrow.
In another case, former MD of UP Small Industries Corporation Ltd Abhay Kumar Vajpayee and two others were produced in court. The next date of hearing in the case has been fixed for June 26.
