Court summons chief parliamentary secretary Ram Kishan Gujjar

The Additional Sessions Judge of Ambala Amarjeet Singh today summoned Chief Parliamentary Secretary and MLA from Naraingarh Ram Kishan Gujjar in the suicide case of a journalist.
Pankaj Khanna, a journalist of Naraingarh had committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance on June 10, 2009 and in his suicide note had alleged that Ram Kishan and two of his supporters had harassed him and the police had registered false cases against him.
On the complaint of the journalist's father Yashpal Khanna, police registered a case under various sections of IPC against two of the MLA's associates, Ajeet and Vijay, but gave a clean chit to Ram Kishan Gujjar.

Khanna moved district court, Ambala in which he requested the court that the name of Ram Kishan be included in the FIR as an accused. The court had admitted the plea.
Ram Kishan challenged the order in the high court which was dismissed.
Later, he approached the Supreme Court which sent the case to the district court and directed it to pursue if some new evidences are produced.
Yashpal Khanna again filed an application in the court of Additional Session Judge on June 20.
The court, while admitting the application, directed Ram Kishan to appear on October 21.
When contacted Ram Kishan Gujjar said he had not received a copy of the judgment so far and had all regards for the judiciary and would follow its direction.
