Press Trust of India Jammu
Several patients at the super specialty hospital in Jammu had to be evacuated this evening after the CT scan room of the hospital caught fire, a police officer said.

The hospital administration has already evacuated some of the patients to nearby Bakshi Nagar hospital after smoke filled some of the wards at the hospital, the officer said.

He said that the CT scan room of the hospital caught fire due to some short circuit that resulted in smoke being filled in the wards.

The fire is now under control, the officer said, adding there was no damage to any life due to the fire.
