Dacoits looted Rs 75,000 and other valuabales from a group of tourists and injured one person when he tried to resist at Piyali tourist spot under Kultali police station in South 24 Parganas district, police officials said today.
Four families, comprising 15 members, were attacked at a hotel by about 12 dacoits who looted about Rs 75,000, gold ornaments, mobile phones and watches from them last night.
When one Sudipta Bose tries to resist them bullets were shot at injuring him seriously. He was hospitalised. All the families hailed from Behala area of Kolkata, they said.
