A high-level tri-services team of the Ministry of Defence today inspected facilities at the Command Hospital run by the military.
The delegation led by Lt Gen P P Verma, Deputy Chief of the Integrated Defence Staff, also witnessed a mock disaster management drill, which is one of the most important mandate of the hospital in times of crisis among its other healthcare roles, Hospital Commandant Maj Gen Deepak Kalra said.
Located in Kolkata's Alipore, Command Hospital is the only tertiary healthcare institution in Kolkata catering to the armed forces personnel serving in the eastern theatre.
