A District Supply Officer has been booked for allegedly harassing a woman Food and Supply Inspector here, police said today.
The woman Food and Supply Inspector complained that District Supply Officer (DSO) Dwarika Prasad Tripathi has been harassing her for past few months, Circle officer Abhishek Yadav said.
She alleged the DSO used to call her names and harass her.
On the basis of her complaint, an FIR under section 354 (assault woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC and relevant sections of the SC and ST (Prevention Of Atrocities) Act in Kotwali police station, the CO said.
