Two engineers camping at the
Mullaiperiyar Dam site were injured when they were allegedly attacked up by a group of unidentified persons today.
The Executive Engineer R Madhavan and Assistant Engineer Soundar said the miscreants threatened and abused them. Madhavan suffered a concussion while Soundar was dazed.

The miscreants were carrying rods and tried to damage the dam, they said.
They said they have informed about the incident to police and Tamil Nadu government.
