Eyewitness in murder case shot dead

An eyewitness in a murder case was today shot dead inside the local court complex here when he had gone there to attend a hearing.

SP (city) Raj Kamal Yadav said that one Devendra Malik was shot dead by two youths, identified as Ajay and Sagar, while he was about to attend a hearing in the case involving the murder of his brother in 2011.

Yadav said that the two youths have been arrested and the murder weapon seized from their possession.
