Former BSP leader's wife, father-in-law killed by driver

A former BSP leader's wife and father-in-law were allegedly murdered by their car driver in a loot bid in Gayatri Nagar colony in Cantt area here, police said today.

Former BSP leader Amirchand Patel's wife Hirawati Devi(50) and father-in-law Kharpattu Patel (70) were killed by their car driver Ajit, yesterday with a sharp weapon, police said.

Later Ajit was nabbed by police from neighbour's house, where he was hiding after murdering the duo with a bag filled with cash and jewellery looted from them, they said.

Amirchand's nephew, Durgesh who was injured too by the driver, informed the police about the incident, police said.
