An interstate gang involved in child lifting was today busted by the Punjab Police and four members of the racket were arrested here.
An abducted child was found from their possession, Police Commissioner Parmjit Singh Gill said, adding that he was handed over to his parents.
Members of the gang used to lift children from Ludhiana and other parts of the state and sell them to buyers at hefty prices, the officer said.
"They used to kidnap children by luring them through chocolates and other such gifts from streets or parks," he said.
