"We demand that the existing draft of RP, which is being worked on by the government, should be denotified. A new one should be drafted taking into confidence all stakeholders like village panchayats, gram sabhas, municipalities, non government organisations and citizens at large," unit spokesman Yatish Naik told reporters here.

The state government has begun the process of inviting suggestions and objections for the draft RP 2021, which is likely to be notified soon.

Naik claimed that the had in its 2012 manifesto assured to denotify the plan and work on a new one.

The RP plan has been kept open for a period of one month for fresh suggestions and comments from the public, he said.
