Gogoi congratulates Changmai, Talukdar

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today congratulated Manash Jyoti Changmai and Jayanta Talukdar for their success in the ongoing 12th South Asian Games being held in Guwahati and Shillong.

Changmai won the gold in Compound Team archery and Talukdar for Recurve Archery Team. Gold Medal winner in the 12th South Asian Games being held in Guwahati and Shillong, respectively.

In a statement Gogoi said, "Your (Changmai) achievement has made us really glad. Best of luck for all your future endeavours."

He also congratulated Talukdar "for his exhilarating performance".

He announced Rs 10 lakh as cash reward for any player from Assam, who gets gold medal in the 12th South Asian Games, the statement added.
